I know the transfer market is going to get an overhaul in the next release, but I wanted to throw out a complaint anyway in case it is something that might still be under review. In addition to extra search features and whatever else you were adding, can you please look at board spending and valuation limits??
I found a player on the transfer list posted by another team, offered the maximum that my board would allow (well above the manager's set value), had that manager accept the offer, and whole thing failed when the other team's board decided it wasn't enough of an offer.
For the record, the player in question is very similar in stats to my current players, not an outrageous reach beyond my means, just someone to fill a hole. The limits set by my board and his board, killed the whole thing.
Obviously you guys are working on this, but please, please let the free market decide player values - not arbitrary limits set up behind the scenes. I know that freeing up the market will mean there is a higher potential for really one sided deals or the potential to go quickly into debt, but that should be the responsibility of the managers who then must live with the consequences.
I know you need some limits within the game to prevent questionable deals between friends or dumping of players before quitting and such, but this last transaction was frustrating for me to say the least. Just food for thought - sorry for the timing of my rant just before your planned updates probably change all of this anyway...
