Training

Training is essential to the development of your players and your team. Every week you can choose what kind of training you want your players to focus on. You do this on the training schedule page. Here you can set the workload on each of the training types. The higher the workload, the higher the probability of a rating increase.

Currently there are eight different training types. The different training types are listed below, along with the player skills they affect.

Interval - Improves Pace and to a lesser degree Stamina
Stamina - Improves Stamina and Work Rate
Strength - Improves Strength
Defending - Improves Aerial Ability, Man Marking, Positioning and Tackling
Attacking - Improves Creativity, Crossing, Off The Ball, Passing and Technique
Finishing - Improves Heading and Shooting
Set Pieces- Improves Set Pieces and to a lesser degree Heading and Shooting
Tactic - This training type differ from all the other types in that it does not affect individual player skills. This training type improves the collective team ratings.

The following colors are used on the workload levels to indicate the probability of rating changes:
Red - This is the minimum workload level. At this level there is a very low chance of any rating increase, much more likely you will experience a rating decrease.
Yellow - At this workload level the probability of a rating increase is higher, but there is also the possibility of a rating decrease.
Green - At this workload level there is a high probability of a rating increase. The chance of any players experiencing a rating decrease is very small.

The workload of all the different training types are summarized and shown in the total workload bar.

The following colors are used to indicate the implications of the current workload:
Green - This workload will not affect the players condtions
Yellow - This workload can result in increases in fatigue
Red - This workload should be used with caution. Player fatigue and injuries are more common.

NB! If the total workload has reached its maximum value you cannot increase the workload on any training type before you decrease the workload on another type.

Please note that some skills are easier to improve than others. It is, for instance, easier to improve stamina and strength than pace and creativity.

Also note that players respond differently to training. Younger players will often learn new skills faster and so will improve more quickly than older players.
